Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and actress.

Diet
From her Netflix documentary Homecoming that in addition to months of working out and rehearsals, Beyoncé followed a strict diet, limiting herself to “no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol…” And we learn in this clip that she was actually following the 22 Days Nutrition program, which was launched by her friend, the trainer and exercise physiologist Marco Borges.
She explains in a voiceover how important it was for her to make a change: “I was a woman that felt like my body was not mine.”
Later, the singer admits: “Me getting the weight off was so much easier than my body getting back in shape and just feeling comfortable.” But apparently, it was all worth it: At the end of the video—just like we saw her do with her husband Jay-Z in Homecoming—Beyoncé Facetimes Borges to show him that she can fit into her old costume—a major milestone.

Workout
Beyonce’s workout regimen is no joke – according to her trainer, she exercises 5x weekly, followed by 45 minutes of weight training. Plus – when the performer is in tour mode, she’s practising choreography 7 times a week, for 9 hours a day.

Routine
6 AM
WAKE UP AND PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Even on a Sunday, Bey gets up at six and practices gratitude. Daily gratitude can help you be more positive, look for more things that make you happy, create more memories, and get more done. Beyonce always gets up earlier than necessary, so the first thing you need to do is wake up and decide how you want your morning routine to be.
7 AM
BREAKFAST
It’s no secret that Beyonce follows a plant-based diet. She does not have meat on Mondays but doesn’t stick to strict veganism unless she has a big show coming up. Her personal trainer Marco Borges, invented a 22-day diet that Beyonce swears by. “Having children has changed our lives more than anything else,” Beyonce and Jay-Z wrote in the introduction for the diet book Marco Borges created, “We used to think of health as a diet – some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible.”

WORKOUT
Beyonce’s workout is notoriously extra, it needs to be to keep her in the best health for her tours and shows. For the killer body, you have to put the time in which means that Beyoncé works out three to five times a week as well as doing up to nine hours a day of dance practice – in heels!
“I’ll put on a song that I really like and do [biceps curls with] five-pound weights [for] the whole song and just try to burn out,” she says.“The truth is it’s a lot of sacrifice. It’s more about your mental strength than physical strength. You have to push yourself. It doesn’t matter what trainer you have. And it doesn’t matter what program you’re on. You have to be healthy and make the right choices,” She does a lot of muscle workouts, squats, lunches, tricep dips, weights, and treadmill work.
2 PM
WORK
Around 2 pm you can find Beyonce hard at work, in fact, she usually works all day and has confessed to being a bit of a workaholic. To counter this, she tries to give herself a weekend off, where she eats what she wants and spends time with her family. Of course, she still works out on the weekend, but it’s more about balance and staying sane by resting.
Whether she’s recording, writing, acting, filming, directing and producing or on tour with Jay Z, she puts her whole heart and soul into everything she does and makes sure that she gives everything 100% effort.

5 PM
FAMILY TIME
Beyonce’s family is super important to her so making a little time for normal routines in the evening is so important, whether that’s spending time with the kids, having dinner with her husband or spending time with her mother and sister. Her family is always around, in fact, her cousin was her assistant for some time, and having her family around her gives her a grounding influence when she’s working super hard. Making time for your loved ones is important, Beyonce made time to have a Valentines date with Jay Z while he was on a plane and she was miles away, simply video chatting with him. So you can make time for a call to your relatives, a check-in, and a date with your friends – it’s easy.
11 PM
NIGHTTIME ROUTINE
“I am a person who has a hard time shutting off my brain,” she told Owaves. To combat this, she keeps her schedule full of things. “If you are active during your day, you will be so exhausted you can’t help but fall asleep.” This is why she spends a lot of time working out, dancing routines, running, and staying fit. The more active she is, the easier it is for her to relax and rest in the evening. Relaxation and rest is important, but if your mind won’t switch off it’s important to schedule a busy and fulfilled day in your planner, and rest properly when the day is over.
