Ed Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter.

Diet
In November 2021, Sheeran shared that while touring, he had an unhealthy diet of alcohol and fried foods and often stayed up late. In an attempt to lose weight and improve his health, he made some changes to his diet and was able to lose a significant amount of weight, approximately five stone.
The Grammy-award-winning singer said excess and hard partying put him in “dangerous” situations, and the loneliness of being on tour led him to drinking alone.
“Since becoming a dad” Ed leads a “clean” lifestyle and occasionally has a drink but doesn’t “drink two bottles” of wine like he used to.
He said he doesn’t ever want to “quit” any foods or drinks because he feels he would “end up starting to try and binge it again”, The Sun published.
On the Behind the Medal podcast in December 2019. In the interview, the “Perfect” singer said he took up running after he quit smoking to lose weight.
“I stopped smoking three years ago and then ever since then started exercising. I love it,” he said at the time.
Workout
In January 2017, Sheeran shared that he had lost 50 pounds, primarily by reducing his intake of beer, while on a year-long break from performing. He realized that he needed to lose weight and made the necessary changes to his diet.
“Now I’m back on beer, because I’m fine, but I cut out beer for a bit and started exercising, which was quite weird,” he said during an interview with The Breakfast Club radio show.
In December 2019 Ed explained that while his fitness routine usually includes 45 minutes of running in the morning, he sometimes adds in swimming and sit-ups.
He added “I did 10 minutes a day without fail – intervals of 30 seconds sprinting and 30 jogging. The key is to not miss a day, so you don’t have to do an hour.”
