Junk Food

Cheese
For many people on the internet, the first time they really took notice of Liz Truss was when she gave a cheese-related speech during the Conservative Party Conference in 2014. Discussing food trade in the UK, Truss declared: ‘We import two-thirds of our cheese. That. Is. A. Disgrace.’ See the impassioned performance here.
Husband
She married Hugh O’Leary, an accountant, in 2000, and the couple have two daughters together. (Frances) and (Liberty).
Hobbies
Her sartorial sense and love of photo opportunities – posing in a tank in Estonia and wearing a fur hat in Moscow – have earned her comparisons to Tory icon Thatcher. She also loves karaoke and socialising.
